Meal Plan: 1/25-1/31

I'm sitting here eating my delicious lunch of leftovers from last night, cauliflower soup and radish tartine with goat cheese, and looking forward to the next few nights of yummy meals...and trying not to think about the fact that I've probably got next week's farmhouse list sitting in my gmail right now- waiting for me to whip it into a menu plan.

So I won't think about that now; I'll think about what's been and what's going on the table this week:

  • Roasted Root Vegetable Hash with Venison Sausage and Fried Eggs, and Braised Turnip and Radish Greens
    • From the Farm: 1 bunch turnips, 1 sweet potato, cilantro, Dai Due venison breakfast sausage, eggs, Larry's fire-roasted tomato salsa, turnip greens, radish greens, green garlic, spring onion 
  • Cauliflower Soup and Radish Tartine with Goat Cheese
    • From the Farm: 1 Cauliflower, splash of milk, 1 giant spring onion, 1 green garlic, Texas French Bread whole wheat bread, chervil, 1 bunch assorted radishes, Cheesy Girl Femme Fatale Chevre Spread (this is from WF but counting it since it's locally made...and maybe one of my favorite things ever)
  • Beet-za...that's Roasted Beet, Bok Choy, and Goat Cheese Pizza
    • From the Farm: beets, bok choy, yellow onion
  • Collards, Candied Sweet Potatoes, and Rotisserie Chicken
    • From the Farm: 1 bunch collard greens, 2 sweet potatoes, Kocurek Farms Czech Bacon, onion
  • Thai Green Curry with Butternut Squash and Rice
    • From the Farm: 1-2 butternut squash, yellow onion, cilantro
I'm looking for things to do with beets and butternut squash; the butternut squash from last week didn't get used and my co-worker gave me all of the beets from her farm box. Beets for everyone! So far they're roasted and sitting in my fridge.....lurking.

Okay, time to tackle the next's week's plan!
